About Me

Welcome to Eleanor Rose Dog Training. I am a qualified dog trainer based in the South-West of England, covering Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire.

​

As an accredited Animal Training Instructor with the ABTC I pride myself on using humane methods centred around reward and choice, keeping it fun and productive for you and your dog while upholding high welfare standards. 

 

I graduated from Plymouth University with a degree in BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I am also a qualified Puppy School Ltd instructor and I regularly attend seminars, conferences, and training courses to stay current and up-to-date with training practices.

Training Walks

Reactivity Support Package 

 I am thrilled to announce a brand new Reactivity Support Package to my clients. This is specifically designed and tailored to offer the best support for you and your companion. 

 

The Package

  • Initial phone consultation, to get history of behaviour, medical, and training. Initial aims and recommendations 

  • 4× one-to-one sessions at the paddock working on engagement, handling techniques, enrichment, building with dummy dog Maud, then working around dogs at a safe distance when ready. 

  • Write ups and breakdowns after each session, with the techniques and any additional information.

  • Contact with me out of hours for support and advice.

  • Access to private facebook group for those enrolled.

 

Having lived with dogs with varying levels of reactivity, this is a subject close to my heart. I am passionate about supporting guardians and their companions through this difficult period.

As well as offering a professional dog training service, I also offer a wonderful selection of goodies for your dog.

 

My shop stocks high quality long lines, beautifully handmade dog toys, enriching LickiMats, Toppls, and Kongs, and a range of natural chews and treats.

Long lines are very useful for recall training, dogs who can't be off the lead, and other training activities. They are for sale in a variety of lengths and colours.

 

  • Lengths of 5.5m, 8m or 10m.

There's a wide range tantalising dog toys, from plaited tug toys to sheep wool chasers. These toys are perfect for fun games with your dog, and aiding in recall training. These high quality toys are handmade by The Dog House and Tug-e-Nuff. They'll love them!
